The Kamloops United Church retained Tri City to undertake its church re-development in 2012 – work was completed in February 2013. The church then retained Tri City to demolish its existing adjoining building and construct a mixed-use (Residential situated overtop of Commercial) building in Downtown Kamloops.
This project required Tri City to assist the church in working with BC Housing (Crown Funding Corporation) through the demolition stage, securing funding, and commencing construction. Excavation and Shoring for the 2 level parkade started in August 2014; the building was occupied March 2016.
The building itself is 6-story over two levels of parkade for a total of 76,000 sq.ft. The main floor is commercial use with the residential situated on the five floors above.Client: Kamloops United Church
