Casey VanDongen

President

Casey has many years of experience in the industry obtaining his journeyman carpentry certificate in 1977. Starting in the housing industry, Casey was the first Master Builder in Kamloops on the original Home Warranty program. From 1993 to 1997 Casey worked as a Construction Manager for a developer and gained experience in multifamily, private and development projects. In the past few years Casey has had the design-build responsibility for several large complex care communities and recently a P3 project – Library Square – in Kamloops, consisting of a public library (Platinum LEED), commercial space and residential 5-story privately owned wood frame apartments above it all.  It is Kamloops’ first Air Space subdivision and first 6-story wood building to be constructed in B.C. since the concept was introduced to the BC Building Code.  To stay abreast of current trends and regulations, Casey attends numerous seniors housing conferences in Toronto and Vancouver. He recently presented at the BC Building Officials conference on the subject of 6-story wood construction.

Sheila Minten

Customer Service Specialist

Sheila started her career in retail management, and in 2003 studied real estate and marketing. She obtained her real estate license and spent the next several years in real estate, first specializing in first time home buyer sales and then mobile mortgage brokering. In 2011 Sheila joined the family business in Kamloops and spent the next few years focusing on expanding the company’s residential portfolio with the development of 2 multi-family complexes. She directed the sales and leasing of more than 150 condominium units as well as the company’s commercial lease portfolio.

In 2013 Sheila stepped in as General Manager for Sidney All Care Residence and during the next 4 years had turned All Care from its humble beginnings to a thriving 88 care bed community with more than 130 staff. As Vice President Sheila oversees the day to day operations of the complex care community and has an open door policy with all of her staff.
Community involvement is very important to Sheila; she is an active member of the Kamloops Daybreak Rotary Club and brings her hands-on leadership style to support causes such as the Alzheimer’s Society and local community sponsorship’s.

Shaun Minten

Senior Project Manager

Shaun worked with Tri City in 2006 to 2009 as a project manager then left to start his own company working in Concrete Forming.  He returned to Tri City as the senior PM and Estimator in February of 2017.  He recently completed the Vernon Hamlets, a 152 Unit Senior Care Facility. His project involvement can range from Plan Development and Review, Document Coordination, Estimates and Project Management.

Robbert de Jonge

B.Eng. - Project Manager

Robbert has been a Developer, Production Manager, Project Manager and Entrepreneur in The Netherlands and Belgium before boarding the Tri City team in October 2017 after moving to Canada. He has more than 20 years related employment work experience in jobs within firms active in General Contracting, supplying the Construction Industry, Construction Management or Project Development The last 10 years Robbert has specialized in Care related projects for elderly as Memory/Complex Care and Assisted or Independent  Living (Suite)Apartments.  As a Project Manager Robbert is involved in setting up and controlling of: estimates, bids, scheduling, closing contracts, managing projects, reporting, budget control, drawing review and on the job problem solving.
